Patient Stories

Some of our patients have written to share their experience and what the procedure has done for them.

Becky'S STORY

Progressively through the years my vision was decreasing. I was not able to read or see pencil on a piece of paper; it got to the point where I used a marker to write just so I could see.

Dan's Story

Traumatized eyes, what heals them? Imaginative technology, painstaking research, unparalleled medical artistry...yes, and what binds these elements together at Advanced Vision Care is compassion.

GABBY'S STORY

I’m not sure how to put into words all the things I feel in my heart right now. This has been such a long journey for me. For as long as I can remember I have hoped for the day that I could look in the mirror and feel good about the way I look.

SANTIAGO'S STORY

When I was five-years-old, I was playing a game with my brother that caused us to throw these wooden blocks back and forth, and one of the building blocks hit my left eye; a one in a million shot that put me in a place where I was unable to do anything.

TIM'S STORY

Once diagnosed with having I.C.E. Syndrome in my right eye, I had no idea that the long journey I was going to undertake would eventually leave me a more grateful individual.

TRACY'S STORY

As the result of prior cataract surgery gone terribly wrong my pupil was torn and it would no longer close in light. The sun was so bright that even through closed eyelids it was unbearable.

Henry’s Story
